A role would offer hands-on exposure to autonomous systems, mission software, and national security product development across active government programs. Interns could work directly alongside engineers, product managers, and forward-deployed staff and gain real-world experience in defense technology that goes well beyond the classroom.
Responsibilities
- Support engineering and product teams across autonomous systems, mission software, and national security platforms
- Conduct technical research, requirements analysis, and competitive benchmarking on defense capabilities
- Prepare technical briefs, product memos, and program materials for review by senior engineers and program leads
- Assist with prototype testing, deployment readiness, and operator feedback cycles across active programs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on capability development and customer engagement
Qualifications
- Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or related technical major
- Programming experience (Python, C++, or similar)
- Interest in national security, defense, or aerospace
- U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility
- Analytical mindset
